Live in Color Studio
Live In Color Studio is a vibrant nail salon and creative space located in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area Founded in 2021. We offer a range of premium nail services ! Our studio also serves as a community hub, hosting educational programs, workshops, and events to foster creativity and connection.
Our space is intimate, and our technicians are independent, yet co-creative who also shares special bonds with their clients collectively and separately making it the perfect environment to call home!
Founder & Owner
Maurisha "Risha" Allen is a Bay Area, CA, entrepreneur with a background in graphic design. She was deeply inspired by the Keenan Ivory Wayans hit tv show “In Living Color” and their love for every culture, meanwhile staying true to their own. We asked Risha to describe what it’s like to “Live In Color” she stated, “It means to simply be open minded about everything and everyone around you. To ‘Live In Color’ is to understand all shades of life between black and white.”
Her endeavors now include being a travel nail technician from corporate events to New York Fashion Week, Advising beauty industry professionals and investors, Training manicurist in physical courses, Brand ambassador for other small businesses, & more!
Co-Founder/Consultant
Aneé Hooker is an Oakland, California native but in her more recent years, relocated and began life in Las Vegas, Nevada. Beginning her career as Personal Assistant and Entertainment Director, she gained numerous skill assets from various small businesses including; infamous “The Place” clothing store located in Las Vegas, owned by RMM owner “Big Percy,” as well as help launch the Disney Plus campaign.
When asked by her cousin “Risha” to join the Live in Color team carrying out marketing, operational and coordinating tasks she was unhesitant to say, “Yes!”
We asked Aneé what it means to “Live in Color?” She replied, “To live in COLOR means to live without fear, to show you are YOU no matter who is looking! It means to live out loud and unapologetic for positive growth in your life.”

Nail Tech/Fashion Model
Ashley is a nail artist who has a passion for natural nails and nail art. She specializes in gel nails and gel extensions. Her passion for nails runs deeps and she’s committed to staying in tune with the latest trends and techniques. She believes everyone deserves beautiful nails and would love to help you achieve that.
She also knows how to strut the runway! That’s right, Ashley is also a professional fashion model, who is not shy in front of the camera and knows all her right angles!
